Units responding were advised no flames are visible, but there is obvious smoke. Chief 10 arrived and assumed command and confirmed smoke from a home in a middle of a row. Engine 13’s crew was directed to gain entry to the main building. Engine 11-1’s crew was directed to the “D” exposure and forced entry through a locked door. That building was clear. The crew from Engine 13 made entry through a 2nd floor window on the “A” side of the primary home. They encountered smoke and high levels of CO.  They went to division 1 to open up, and found both doors to be double keyed on the dead bolt with no key to open. The crew from Engine 11-1 forced open the front door here and gained entry. Crews performed primary and secondary searches which all came up negative. Engine 13’s crew found a malfunctioning oil burner and was able to secure it. Ventilation began with PPV. Rescue 11 refilled cylinders with its onboard cascade.

Once all levels were at a respectable level, Chief 10 released the assisting companies.
